nenek's portrait



this is the chinese peony pattern for nenek's portrait base...it's a matte woodcut relief print with a drypoint over it. the woodcut provides the texture (sort of worn-floral-sofa flaking); the drypoint puts the lines in and gives a glowing sheen (because of the oil-ink)
